Tools: My Top WordPress Plugins

Its been about a month now since I created this site, and I wanted to share with you the WordPress Plugins that I use. I have used others in this time which I uninstalled, and only have the plugins I consider neccassary up and runner. Here they are:

The Imagify plugin is great for reducing the load times of your pages. It does this be optimising your photographs. Upon install you can optimise all the photos in your gallery and choose to optimise and resize any new images that are uploaded automatically. This is especially great when working on a mobile device and don’t want the hassle of manually resizing and optimising photos.

MailChimp for WordPress

MailChimp services along with the MailChimp for WordPress plugin makes it super easy to get started with a newsletter.

WP Word Count

Super simple plugin that will give you all the metrics you could ever need when it comes to the word count of your site. Word counts per post, category, month, site.

Autoptimise is a handy little plugin that optimises your CSS and JavaScript to improve the performance of your WordPress site.

Google Analytics WordPress by Monster insights

Easily incorporate Google Analytics into your WordPress site and see your analytical data from within you WordPress dashboard.

Yeost SEO

If you’ve come this far you have probably heard of the most downloaded SEO plugin, Yeost SEO.
Yeost SEO will provide real time metrics on your SEO effectiveness of your post. It can also be used to modify how you articles will display in Search Engine results.

SG Optimiser

I have written an earlier post on my hosting provider, Site Ground. This plugin makes it easy to modify hosting settings from within WordPress including SSL settings and Caching.
